Is there really a ghost in the machine?
Technically, no. Our generators use advanced, pseudorandom number generation algorithms. However, we have designed the user experience to be spooky, immersive, and reminiscent of old horror lore.
Do you save any of my generated passwords or names?
Absolutely not. All of our tools generate results inside your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to our servers. Your security and privacy are of utmost importance.
How does the Spin the Wheel tool decide the winner?
When you trigger the spin, the engine uses cryptographically secure random values to compute a terminal rotational velocity. The slice resting beneath the dagger/oracle when the friction brings it to a complete stop is selected.
Can I use these tools for professional decisions?
Our tools are meant for entertainment, novelty, and overcoming minor choice paralysis (e.g. what book to read, what food to order, what scary movie to watch). We do not recommend using them for medical, financial, or critical legal decisions.
